Frequently Asked Questions

Our horse rental is open in the mountains of Payson until Halloween. Ride by appointment.

We normally ride at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00.  Hours can vary to accommodate riders.

In Payson, in the mountains, we charge $95 per person + tip.    

Both Rides are an hour and 20 minutes.

In the Valley, we charge $85 per person plus tip.

Yes, we provide helmets for all riders. Safety is our top priority!

Jeans, t-shirt, boots, a hot that will stay on, maybe sunscreen.  Some wear tennis shoes.  Closed toe shoes.  Don't bring your purse, or back pack on the ride unless it is vital.  Extra baggage just gets caught up in branches or swing around and don't take unless necessary.

Don't run up to horses.  Don't walk behind horses.  If you are standing next to a horse please watch your feet as you could have your foot stepped on if you are not paying attention. Don't feed hores with your hands.  Throw the carrot in the pen or put in a bucket.

 No running or riding double.  This is a safe walking tour.  When you get back wait to get off on the ramp and also wait to get your balance again before you go down the ramp.  Keep a horse length apart on the trail, and don't ride beside another horse.  Keep weight in stirrrups.

Stay centered on the horse.  Keep reins loose enough you are not pulling on the horses mouth unless you want to stop. Have a good ride.  Thank  you.
